A curious experiment

Where Are My Hands explores the tension of a natural tendency for a life offline vs. the inherent necessity and freedom to express oneself online.

Born from an experiment in awareness over a fortnight, to simply notice with curiosity more often throughout the day; “where are my hands?”

With an unshakeable desire to remember the daily toil of hands, in the way our ancestors used them, the moving meditation, the creation of that which is full of spirit.

Captured on iPhone, to make for the least glamorous and most everyday, in-the- moment capture of hands.

To allow more intentionality and acceptance and presence with whatever one is doing, that would naturally spring from this place, rather than through judgement or criticism.

Would documenting the truth of now allow more parts to come to the light, rather than be hidden in dark and shameful spaces?

What if there is a space where all parts, ancient and analog and slow, modern and fast were all welcome and integrated, instead of shunned…even the undeniable enjoyment of realestate.com.au on the toilet?

Would embracing all parts, even the less desirable, allow a more loving relationship with this moment in time we find ourselves incarnated in?
