This is the Mother’s book you know. I felt this whilst I was writing it. I’ve just been the vessel for some reason but we all have our own story and everyone’s story is so important and has a place and I really feel that. And then also I felt like so many of the threads are pieces of all of us. I just feel like this is the book that doesn’t get written because of the fullness of early Motherhood. The only reason I wrote it was because I had to because that was my catharsis you know. This book is about elevating the status of the Mother in our society like giving her a voice and being like these things that we go through. It's real, it’s rite of passage and it’s important. All the shifts we move through, all the small choices we make, the big ones and everything in between, it’s not for nothing, it’s doing so much for our lineage. My hope is that this book may contribute to the elevation and acknowledgment of the sacred role of Motherhood in our society. And speak to how poetic it truly is, to become and to be, Mother.
