Sunrise at the servo…we left at 5am the Friday of the Easter weekend.

Going bush…our Easter tradition is camping off the grid with 30 of the best people we know. It’s just out of Swan Hill in the top North West of Victoria. A friend of friend’s private property…so we have this absolute paradise completely to ourselves. Matt has been doing this trip since he was a young boy. To be able to share the joy of camping, especially of the grid bush camping with our children, we are so grateful for.

On the Saturday morning I turned 31, I woke up to a swim in the river and then homemade cards by the fire. Everyone kept asking me, “it couldn’t beat last year though?” (I had a huge house party for my 30th and Matt proposed to me in front of our loved ones).
I say, “it’s even better.”
And I genuinely meant it, because the quiet birthdays are just as magical as the big ones. And camping is one of my favourite things in this life.

Beau & Matt’s Dad Stewart - they have the most special bond.

Feeding time at the zoo. Every meal is a team effort and cooked on the fire. Here we have Saturday lunch which is tacos!
